May 2026 Compliance Veterans’ Venue with Flood Q&A

Our Compliance Veteran’s Venues are monthly events that always include a summary of any final regulations that have come out during the previous month. They also include summaries of any new proposals, enforcement actions and other matters of interest that come from the regulators or trade groups (i.e. updated exam manuals, any guidance that may be issued etc.). We also include a list of important dates such as effective dates for final regulations, expiration of comment periods for proposals.
Additionally, we will have a Flood Expert for a Q&A session for the last half hour (2:30 – 3:00 p.m. ET) of this Veterans’ Venue.

Michael Ramirez CIC, ANFI, CFM, AIM, CPSR
VP Sales & Marketing of Wright Flood
With over 19 years in the insurance industry, Michael joined Wright Flood in August 2014. He has served in several roles from Rollover Specialist, Marketing Assistant, In-House Sales Agent, Senior In-House Sales Agent, Regional Sales Manager, AVP of Sales & National Accounts and now VP of Sales and Marketing. He is focused on assisting our clients to understand the complex and challenging world of flood insurance and leading our sales team to grow our partner agents’ books of business.
Previously a P&C Carrier Underwriter, Annuity Marketer, and successful Independent Insurance Agent, he holds his 220 (General Agent), 215 (Life, Health and Annuity) and his 120 (Excess and Surplus Lines). Michael’s professional designations include: CIC, ANFI, CFM, AIM, CPSR. Michael served in the United States Coast Guard reaching the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class (YN2). Michael graduated from the University of South Florida in 2006 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Social Science. Michael is married with three sons and a French Bulldog. He coaches youth soccer and resides in Bradenton, Florida.
