Steven J. Hubbard is Vice President, Policy (Asset Management and Prudential Risk) in the Financial Institution Policy & Regulatory Affairs (FIPRA) group at the American Bankers Association (ABA). He works in the areas of prudential regulation, trust and wealth management, fiduciary activities, retirement services, and investment advice.
Prior to joining ABA in October 2025, Steven was a financial services consultant at Promontory Financial Group (11 years) and Hub Advisory Group LLC (1 year) advising clients on complex regulatory and enforcement matters related to risk management, governance, and compliance. Prior to joining Promontory, Steven served for more than two decades in various supervisory and examination capacities at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) headquarters, Atlanta Regional Office, and in the field.
Steven received a B.S in Business Administration, magna cum laude, from Bryant University (1991).
